Six Sentence Sunday #sixsunday #amwriting

This last month has absolutely flown past. Can't believe how fast February went, and now we're half way through March.

Zane has been retiled Forged in Fire and went out on submission this weekend. (agents) My query letter appears to be strong. Just sent the first batch of eight queries out last night and two requests for partials came through today. This will be the only time I mention my query status. From now on mum’s the word.

I’ve decided to title the series Forged in --as in Zane’s book will be Forged in Fire, Cosky’s Forged in Ice, Rawls Forged in Fury and Mac’s Forged in Betrayal.

And now for my contribution to Six Sentence Sunday!

These lines are from the first kiss. Beth is having second thoughts.

#############################################

Clamping her mouth shut, she set every muscle to resisting.

A low growl rumbled up his throat and throbbed against her lips like a threat, but he broke contact and eased back.

Beth relaxed. Clearly he’d gotten the message. Except he leaned down and nipped her bottom lip. Not enough to sting, just enough to send a message—along with a rush of blood to her head—just enough to let her know that. . .yeah. . he had no intention of playing by her rules.
