Six Sentence Sunday #sixsunday #amwriting

Now that my time has freed up, I'm going to starting posting to Six Sentence Sunday every week. In the past, I wrote on Sundays and never had the time to read all the other awesome posts people shared. From here on out though, I'm going to be writing from Monday through Saturday and taking Sunday's off to read. Part of that reading is going to be Six Sentence Sunday snippets. I'm really looking forward to see all the various styles and stories.

My snippets from today come from Forged in Fire, the book I have out on submission. Forged in Ice, the second book in the series is way too raw to post. lol-- it's in that fast draft puke stage. After I start revisions I'll start posting that book

You can read the rest of the Six Sentence Sunday posts http://www.sixsunday.com/

And here are my six!

Beth stared into his utterly cold, utterly empty eyes. She was dead anyway. Scream or no scream, he had no intention of letting her live. Once she served whatever purpose he had planned, she would be as disposable as Todd, as his co-conspirator at the airport.

On the other hand, her scream would warn Zane and Rawls.

He must have read her intentions on her face, because he smiled—a chilling, anticipatory stretch of thin lips.
